4:49PM - Bored in Jersey

I have been in New Jersey All week finishing out my last week with my company. To Bring you up to date, the company I worked for decided to move the service center/warehouse to the Suburbian Jersey Area. (Parsippany anyone?). Today was the last day I had in the office there and I am in an airport hotel until tomorrow. I fly back to Florida tomorrow.

4:33PM - Grilling out

Okay, so I go for an interview tomorrow. Everyone wish me luck. I really want to fly again. I am driving about 3 hours for this interview. I will give more details to individuals if they care to know, but can't really do so publicly as I don't know how this company feels about blogs.

I know I haven't posted in forever, but I am trying to remember to post. I was recently dragged into the world of Myspace, so if any of you are there, add me as a friend. My email there is aircubord@yahoo.com.

Okay, here goes, I don't think I can remember the last time I posted. I am going to start updating my site again. Being in a relationship and work has pretty much taken up most of my time for the past 18 months, but I am going to make time now for this part too. I have lost track of everyone. 9:15PM - Promotion

Well,

Found out that I am getting a promotion at work. Just moved back here from Chicago as my partner's job didn't go as they promised him. They are replacing the office manager and have offered me the job. More money and harder work, but I am happy to take it on.

So now I am no longer flying. The company ran out of money and called it quits on the 7th. I already have another job though. I am working in an office here in South Florida. Its a job and the pay is okay. I probably need a break from the travel anyways.

I can so agree with the mayor of New Orleans. There should be a moratorium on press conferences. Watching CNN tonight I see where BUSHY toured the gulf coast and when he is talking with the "refugees" you can hear the cameras clicking, see him putting his arms around them...etc. etc...Everyone is worried about a place to put everyone. I have a suggestion...Isn't there a ranch in Texas with plenty of room......Your thoughts?

Okay....Here goes....Someone suggested I ask you guys what I should do on vacation...I have a week and have no idea where to go. Don't say outside the US cause that takes lots of money, of which I dont have (went on vacation in July, so spent it)......Ideas are welcome.....

Well, I have survived the first part of my first Hurricane. Course you know my fool ass drove out to the beach in the middle of it. Lots of trees and power poles down...Sand all over A1A....Its nasty...took me over a half hour to go 1.5 miles....Winds are still constant now...but getting less as the storm moves west....

8:31PM - Leaving Calif again

Well, I am getting ready to pack up the computer and head home again. The move I visit here, the better I like it. San Jose is a slower paced place that San Fran, but its a "cute" city. I ate too much while I was here. I do the redeye back to DC tonight and then head home to FL for a day off.

Its a great time as normal as I sit here on the 8th floor. I just watched the sun go down and it was really nice.

Okay...so I downloaded the new version of SeMagic so it would stop reminding me to do so....Now its bedtime.

Well, Here I sit, knowing I need to sleep..I have to leave at 10:30 am to start my weekly commute to work. I will be working the flight from IAD-SJC tonight and then coming back Monday night. I have rented a car and hope to see the area a bit while there.
